About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused MuleSoft Lead Developer to lead MuleSoft development initiatives and work closely with customers and development teams.
The ideal candidate should be highly hands-on, capable of designing scalable integration solutions, guiding developers, managing technical challenges, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Engage directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements.

Translate requirements into scalable MuleSoft integration and API solutions.

Lead end-to-end MuleSoft development activities across the Anypoint Platform.

Design API-led solutions using System, Process, and Experience APIs.

Review technical designs, development tasks, and integration approaches.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to MuleSoft best practices.

Guide and mentor junior MuleSoft developers.

Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.

Manage development, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, QA teams, and customer stakeholders.

Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Core Technical Requirements
-
5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
-
Strong expertise in Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform.

Hands-on experience with: Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, CloudHub / Runtime Fabric

Strong knowledge of DataWeave 2.0.

Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and reusable API design patterns.

Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and enterprise applications.

Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, API policies, and security.
-
Experience with messaging technologies such as Anypoint MQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Ability to lead junior developers and manage day-to-day technical activities.

Strong debugging and production support capabilities.

Ability to handle customer discussions related to technical design, progress, and dependencies.

Ability to remain hands-on while leading the development team.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications

MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or higher.

Experience with MuleSoft RPA / UiPath / Automation Anywhere.

Experience with IDP integrations.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong client-facing and consulting experience.
